As an often overlooked organism, scorpions serve as important bioindicators to ecosystem health in arid regions. At one Nevada site, night surveys were conducted to quantify the spatiotemporal dynamics of scorpions throughout their peak activity season. Not only does this study site contribute to a wider understanding of scorpions in this region but may be utilized to better inform renewable energy development on public lands.
